It was fabulous to spend a week at NERAM making prints inspired by the town of Armidale. While I was there I was lucky enough to get to climb the bell tower of St Peter's cathedral for an amazing view, visit the local archives and meet members of the Black Gully Print makers who use the space I occupied (every Thurday evening). I cut and printed two images using Ezycarve and started working on a third more complex work in the time I was there. I have to credit Sam Walcom for giving me permission to use his original photograph as inspiration for the Imperial Hotel image.
My next week of the residency occurs in July and I will be running a workshop on SAT 8th of July at Packsaddle Studio - click on the link for more information.
