Early Life

Maggie was born in Goulburn NSW and grew up spending a lot of time on her family farm out of town. The house she grew up in was a 1920's architect designed sprawling Californian bungalow.
It featured beautifully ornate plastered ceilings, tessellated tiles and sturdy exposed beams.
Maggie remembers getting lost in those ceiling patterns, being captivated by motes of dust and running her fingers along the textured pathways of pile on an old ottoman.

Current Activities

Maggie currently divides her time between her studio and being an art specialist in an inner city primary school. Maggie is part of a thriving studio in St Peters - May Street Studios, it is made up of a broad range of creatives including, photographers, painters, printmakers and multi media artists.

Maggie loves spending time at home in Newtown, in her quaint workers cottage she shares with her partner. Amongst her others loves are cooking, gardening and spending time with family and friends. She is also a keen swimmer, cyclist and yoga practioner.

You can arrange to meet Maggie in her St Peters studio by appointment.
