Thank you to all those people that attended my classes this year, it's been fantastic to meet
you and see your work.
My February classes are full, drop me a line if you would like to join a class in March.

2020/2021

​In 2020 ran 3 lino sessions from my studio at Little Majestic, Marrickville send me a message through my contact form if you'd like to attend a class OR use this link. I will also consider giving one on one/two sessions
if requested.

So far this year I have run two classes - the next is Sat 3rd of April (Full) and then Saturday 17th of April ( one or two spots left)

One of my students inking up in orange Caligo ink. The inks I use are great quality oil based but still water wash up so fairly low toxicity.

I purchased this MES Stamp press in May this year and it is currently installed at Addison Road community centre where students can use it when they attend my classes.

Kids Classes
At present I am taking a break from after school teaching,
below are some works my class at Newtown did in 2013 (ages 8 - 12 yrs).

Seiko says
"Maggie's art class is very inspiring and interesting as she uses a variety of different materials. 
My daughter (10 years old) loves such creative time sharing with Maggie !
I'm enjoying seeing my daughter's creations every time she brings them home"

"Our son had a great year with Maggie's art classes last year. she covers classic drawing techniques as well as craft activities using innovative materials and seems to know how to make her students think creatively.

Charcoal Portraits - working with soft charcoal and a black page the students used a rubber to pick out the light tone - while working with the photograph upside down beside them .

Enjoying plein air painting - kids painted directly onto plywood inspired by their surroundings.

Today I brought in some chive and sage flowers in vintage glass bottles - this is Lily's painting.

Fearghus made a stylish box person last week, we were inspired we were inspired by examples in Usborne's "365 things to do with paper and cardboard".

Term 3 Today we looked to the Surrealists for inspiration. This was meant to be nonsense poetry - by Fearghus.

Thierry did a collage of a boy and bird - the back of the image looked interesting too so he hinged it and added some detail.
