As I write I'm thinking how we're heading into the last month of 2016. I'm really buoyed by how supportive local people are in paying that bit extra to buy original, hand made and locally produced gifts this year. Through my work as an educator and artist I see clearly how vital the role of art is in our society and also how under valued it is by the powers that govern.
As consumers we all have a little power through what we choose to purchase , so thank you firstly to those who came and supported my work last week at CAM - what a great day ! Thanks especially to Paola Talbert and Trish for their excellent organisation prior to the event and on the day.
