I have been spending a lot of time in the studio which is about to end due to a heavy load of teaching in September.
I have been continuing to work on developing my cuisenaire pieces and am now including small figures in some of the works an extra playful element.
In the last couple of weeks I have also completed a pastel commission of a local church + worked on an entry for the Marrickville Contemporary Art Prize (see news page).
My pastel image of the Belljar Cafe is now available at the Cafe as a card for $5 (on the shelf behind the expresso machine) and Fiona and I are looking forward to our next market Sept 2nd + the open Studio as part of fringe on the 8th of September.
