It is very unusual that I have time in the studio around now - so I'm taking advantage of it !
This image shows a few partially assembled works on my table - I play around with the cuisenaire rods sometimes painting over them and arrange and glue them onto plywood - adding architectural detail + some scale models of human figures in some cases.
The works are inspired by Newtown but are less literal than my prints. I'm really enjoying seeing a lot of old photographs of the surrounding area up for the 150 year celebrations - they have also inspired.
I aim to show these works in an intimate space in 2013.
