I have been experimenting with imagery for the next calendar this week using a different type of lino (actually rubber) called esycarve. This allows me to carve quickly and I have printed small images as repeats in different orientations to creat a series of symmetric images.The images are all from photographs I have taken focussing on patterns in nature.
