So far this new year I have managed to carve one new piece ( Newtown Backlanes - above left) and complete another started late last year. Both these pieces are small, one took one day to carve , the other more like 50 hours ! The colour in both prints was attained with the use of a colour roll, this means I have laid out several colours on the glass and rolled them so they blend. The colours are then rolled carefully onto the lino - taking care to go in one direction only and you do need a roller as wide as the lino to achieve an even coverage.
I plan to have these in the shop very soon.
