This print is an interpretation of the Rocket Ship in Enmore Park, Marrickville.
They started popping up in playgrounds around the world in the 1960's and have become icons of technological advancement.
Once upon a time kids were able to climb right to the top of these but I'd say local councils became fearful of being sued and installed barriers in them.
Nevertheless they are nostalgic for a lot of people and a magnet for young kids.
The actual image measures about 12.5cms x 14.5 cms tall.
