Newtown Friendly Society, lino print and ink drawing 2020

This plaque sits on a beautiful building at 82 Enmore Road, Newtown.

I discovered it when I was working on my Disappearing Traders series and I love the sentiments ! I made a print of the plaque, printed it onto this deep orange paper then added a brick texture in black ink.
