Going Places, Central Station Lino print 2018

This is a black and white lino print of the interior of Central Station Sydney, looking west out through the sandstone arch. I was attracted to the simple symmetry of the architecture and the silhouettes of the moving travelers.

Central Station is bustling with life (except for now).

Trains from here go to many regional centres in NSW’s and beyond.

I have travelled to Armidale frequently over the years and always enjoy the simple pleasures of sitting, reading, drawing and often meeting people I may not normally come into contact with.
