"View to Gould's" Original Mixed Media artwork 2025, framed
View to Gould's has been created with a combination of stamping to create the wall paper pattern and inserting part of an original Gould's lino print in the window section.
I have used some retro print material to create a vase shape in the foreground, the vase holding some delicate banksias.
I collage on a heavy weight black Canson paper which I have left exposed as part of the window frame in this piece.
Gould's Bookstore operated on the north end of King street, Newtown for many years and formed part of my Dissappearing Traders series.
